FAQ

Hello Everyone!

Thank you for your interest in dining at our new pop-up prime rib restaurant in the sunset. We have been receiving many requests for Information on how to book a table with us. Currently reservations are available through our website www.prime-sf.com under the OpenTable reservation link. If there are no tables available for the chosen date

then we are fully booked for those nights. We are currently adding

more tables to try to accommodate as many guests as possible and

should have more capacity mid November. Although we are adding more

tables we still expect a limited amount of reservations available due

do the demand. Please follow us on Instagram for the latest updates!

FAQ:

What days are you open?

Currently we are open for dinner service Thursday, Friday and Saturday for dinner service only...Our first seating starts at 6:30PM.

Why are you only open Thursday - Saturday?

Two reasons mainly:

We are only open 3 days a week for now due to lack of staffing and beef

shortages. As these improve so will our availability.

Also I also run a restaurant & bar called Lost and Found down the street 7 days a week

I can't find a reservation available at all is OpenTable broken?

We currently offer 100% of our available tables on OpenTable, if there

is no availability, that means we are fully booked for those dates.

Do you accept walkins?

We don't currently allow walk-ins, but from time to time when we have

last minute cancellations and we have the capacity we will accept a

walk-in. Although rare, some customers have been able to secure a

spot. But we will always recommend to secure a reservation for the

best experience.

How far in advance do you accept reservations?

OpenTable has a rolling 30 day reservation period. We are going to

work with them to possibly change this into a 60 day rolling period.

Why are you only offering prime rib at a medium rare temperature?

The prime grade beef we procure is the top 3% in all of United States

beef manufacturing, we believe that our beef cooked to medium rare

will offer the best eating experience for both tenderness and

juiciness. There are no substitutions for this doneness level.

Because of the limited kitchen resources we cannot make any exceptions. Sorry!

Is that a layer of fat on top of your pate?

The layer on top of the pate is just Kerry gold butter. It helps the

pate from oxidation.

Do you accept parties larger than what is available through open table?

Currently its very difficult to book one table let alone two tables. Our one largest table can fit 10 adults comfortably, our other four larger tables can fit 8-9 adults. Parties larger than 10 we cannot accommodate at this time.

Do you offer a vegetarian option?

We do not have a vegetarian option currently

Do you offer a gluten free menu?

Current items that contain gluten are our yorkshire pudding and our creamed spinach

Do you offer a kids menu?

Yes! Kids menu starts at $26 which is half of an English Cut entree

If there are any further questions please don't hesitate to ask, but

keep in mind we have been receiving a large amount of emails daily and

it might take several days to respond.

Thank you!
